Many critics has accused Ayuk for reducing her age in other to fit in to the age bracket soon after been crowned Most Beautiful girl in Nigeria pageant.

Though, the winner of MBGN 2012 has been defended by the Chairman of Silverbird Group, Guy Murray Bruce that she was not disqualified and that it was just rumours but at the same time the Chairman stated that Nigeria will now be represented by the Runner up, 23-year-old Miss Damiette Charles Granville at the Miss World Beauty Pageant holding on August 18 in Mongolia, china in August. MBGN winner, Miss Isabella Agbo Ayuk will represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe. Now you know!

The Chairman refused to give a specific reason for the Change but the decision was in the best interest of the beauty ambassadors, the company and the country at large.
Core entertainment also gathered that another Silverbird representative informed that Isabella hinted that she can’t forego her service year for personal reasons best known to her that she must serve out her year. That is the reason for the sudden change. But on the other hand, the management is willing to accommodate her for the Miss Universe pageant when she could be free.
