Yes!! Adele is pregnant. Well, what a result from such an emotional singer you might want to say. The award winning singer announced June 28 that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki.

"I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together."
"I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx" She wrote on her Adele's blog.

She had earlier defended her relationship with boyfriend here stating "This is the first and last time I will comment on the details of my relationship with Simon," Adele wrote on Tuesday. "Contrary to reports and headlines in the press today, Simon is divorced and has been for 4 years. Everyone in our lives separately and together wish us nothing but the best, and vice versa. These are the facts. Take care and see you all in February xx."

24-year-old Adele is the second woman to win 6 Grammy Awards in a night after Blue Ivy's mother, Beyonce.

Majek Fashek Lands a Record Deal Worth N15 Million

Well, we all prayed with a voice when we saw several "ill" picture of our own Majek Fashek go viral on the internet few months back.

But now the legend is probably gonna get his groove back as he has signed a record deal with a Nigerian based record label called A Plus Recording and Award company. The deal is worth N15m and would last 2 years.

The label has also started getting him gigs and shows. He his reported to have been scheduled for an international tour in July touring Italy, Spain, Canada and more places.

Actor Jim Iyke Wins the Alleged N15m Scam Court Case

We earlier reported about this case where star actor Jim Iyke was charged to court over a N15m scam and he supposedly caused drama in court. If you missed that, catch up WITH THE STORY HERE

Now, it is reported that the ATTITUDE filled Jim has won the case against Habiba Abubakar. According to a representative of the actor, the case was thrown out (throway) by the court for lack of evidence.
With this, the case has now been officially closed.

Habiba had brought the case to the court against Jim Iyke in 2011 for an alleged 15million naira fraudulent activity by the actor. However there was rumour few months ago that Jim Iyke was reported to have begged that the case be settled out of court.
The actor is also reported to be in Brazil for studies. He was recently listed by the United Nations to help pick six children to receive quality education in the US. He also penned a multi million naira deal in The Gambia some weeks ago.
Well, if you say good things are happening to Jim, you are right!!

Curtis Jackson popularly known as 50cent, was involved in a car accident early this morning, 26 June, 2012. According to report, the Rapper was immediately hospitalized at the Queens Hospital in New York where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries.

It was reported that there is a possible injuries to his neck and back in a frightening car crash involving his SUV and a Mack truck. According to Thisis50.com, “it all went down early Tuesday morning on the long Island Expressway in New York City, when a red mack truck rear-ended 50’s ride… and the rapper’s SUV almost flipped over”.

50 Cent’s  driver was reported to have lost control of the massive vehicle while driving on Long Island Expressway. However, reports say he has been released and he’s doing very fine.

Our dear sexy actress was received amidst warm welcome with dancing and shouts of Karibu Sana Omosexy (very welcome Omosexy).

She however didn't fail to do some humanitarian work as she visited  an orphanage run by Tanzania Mitindo House for HIV infected children. She also had a lunch at the home of  Wema Sepetu with children from the orphanage. Thereafter left for the Giraffe Hotel to attend the launching of Wema Sepetu’s movie, Superstar.

Chris Okotie Quits Again

It has been officially announced that the founder/General overseer of the Household of God Ministry, Christopher Akpoborie Okotie, has ended his fours years relationship with Stephanie Henshaw. The flamboyant preacher and three times presidential candidate of FRESH Democratic Party had on Sunday announced the separation to his congregation.

Mr. Ladi Ayodeji who is the spokesman for the Church, officially signed the statement before been announced.  Mr. Ayodeji further explained that both parties arrived at this decision after careful review of the prevailing circumstances which pointed to the fact that it is the best option for them at this time, adding that both Pastor Okotie and his wife, Stephanie, have agreed to be silent on detailed reasons for the separation.
The founder of the Lagos based Household of God Ministry thanked concerned friends and well wishers and also explained that no further details would be provided on this issue.

Core entertainment also gathered that both party agreed not to divulge details of this incident for personal reasons.

The one timed pop singer who is also a law graduate earlier divorced his first wife, Tyna,  who he married for 17 years without a child, While Stephanie too had earlier tasted two marriages with three children before marrying Okotie on August 7 and 8, 2008.

After been disqualified from participating in the coming Miss World beauty pageant coming up on August 18, in Mongolia China, for falsifying her age, the organizers of MBGN has issued a statement defending Miss Isabella Ayuk. The Chairman of Silverbird Group, Mr. Guy Murray Bruce defended that “Isabella remains the winner of the MBGN and accordingly is expected to carry out her duties as queen until next year when another queen is chosen”.

Core entertainment earlier reported that the reigning MBGN will not be vying for the Miss World title as she will be represented by her Runner up, Miss Ifeoma Umoekeke, and she will be contesting for the Miss Universe Crown. ISABELLA AYUK (MBGN) DISQUALIFIED FROM MISS WORLD- WHY??

Isabella Ayuk who was crowned the Most Beautiful girl in Nigeria in 2012 has been disqualified from Miss World beauty pageant for age cheat. Core entertainment gathered that she has been disqualified for falsifying her age.

Isabella, who says she is 25, is a former Miss Nigeria contestant (2004), Ex Beauty Queen of the South-South Nigeria (2007/2008), Miss Global Nigeria (2009/2010), and was a delegate at Miss Global International (World) in Jamaica in 2010.
Many critics has accused Ayuk for reducing her age in other to fit in to the age bracket soon after been crowned Most Beautiful girl in Nigeria pageant.

Though, the winner of MBGN 2012 has been defended by the Chairman of Silverbird Group, Guy Murray Bruce that she was not disqualified and that it was just rumours but at the same time the Chairman stated that Nigeria will now be represented by the Runner up, 23-year-old Miss Damiette Charles Granville at the Miss World Beauty Pageant holding on August 18 in Mongolia, china in August. It was an ugly night for 2 mega stars, Chris Breezy and Drizzy at a New York City Club. The entourages of Drake and Chris Brown reportedly clashed. The clash had 5 people injured and also left CB with a deep cut on his jaw.

DBanj Launches New Record Label- DKM

Mr. Endowed to badt, Koko master Dbanj is set to launch a new music label- D'Koko Master (DKM) Records.

According to reports streaming in, DKM records will have omo baba olowo, Davido as its first signed artiste. An official party will be held shortly at Eko Hotels Lagos, date however undisclosed. You all remember that it's a few months since Dbanj and Don Jazzy broke up their long term business relationship. DonJazzy has however moved on with the launch of his label Mavin Records.

Dbanj on the other hand has been doing exploits with the promotion of Oliver Twist across the UK.

Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) record label, has announced that the compilation album titled 'Empire Mates State Of Mind' will be released on June 18, 2012. Guess this is a new trend as the Solar Plexus album was released by Mavin records is gaining massive airplay and promo for the label.

The album will feature 20 songs by Wizkid, Skales, Banky W, Niyola and Shaydee. You all know Nyola and Shaydee are both new artistes on the EME block. Other artistes include rapper, X.O Senavoe, and singer Rotimi.

The album will also have two skits done by Comedian, BasketMouth.

The Dana Air family is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of the passengers and crew of Flight 9J-922 of Sunday, June 3, 2012. The aircraft, with Registration Number 5N-RAM, departed Abuja for Lagos with 146 passengers onboard. 1 Dana Air Flight Engineer, 2 Pilots and 4 Cabin Crew were also aboard the flight.

Dbanj Debunked Rumours of his Death

Rumours has been going round that Dbanj was shot dead. 'Twas rumoured that three unknown gun men hit him on his way from the Atlanta residence of his G.O.O.D Music boss, Kanye West, after which he was rushed to St Joseph’s Hospital, where he died some minutes later as a result of complications from gunshot wounds.

Headies Awards Receiving Entries for 7th Edition

Formerly recognised as HipHopWorld Awards, organisers of The Headies have announced they will now be receiving materials for consideration in respect to the 7th Edition of the awards.

Ayo Animashaun, CEO of Smooth Operations, organisers of the awards stated that artistes and labels who wish to be considered for nominations can submit; 3 audio CDs, 4 DVDs, a mini DV tape, soft copies of artiste profile and pictures to the awards secretariat at 4 Ogundana Street, off Allen Avenue, Ikeja Lagos.

Note, only music content released between March 2011 and February 2012 are eligible for entry. Submission begins Monday June 4 and ends Saturday, June 30 2012.
