Though, the Association of Nigerian Theater Arts
Practitioner (ANTP), are yet to release
a statement as regards the death of the popular Yoruba actor, but Core
entertainment gathered that the thespian who was popularly called Dento, died
on Monday 6 August 2012 after months of serious stroke.
Hammed Odunla (Dento) would be buried today according to
Muslim rites. He is from Oyo State and has been in the industry for decades.
Few months ago, a prayer session was held by Pastor Wole
Oladiyun of Christ Living Apostolic Ministry (CLAM) to prevent sudden death
among entertainers and the event was attended by big names of the industry including
D’banj and Mercy Aigbe.
