PSquare Signs Distribution Deal with Universal Music South Africa

Congrats to the brothers Peter and Paul Okoye as they have just signed a deal with Universal Music South Africa, an imprint of the biggest record label in the world- Universal Music Group.

Peter tweeted a few minutes back;
Psquare has been signed to UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP... Baba God has done it again..@JUDEENGEES @rudeboypsquare @MisterMayD
Core entertainment gathered that the deal was signed earlier today. Details of the contract will be reported as soon as they unfold. However, we know this is a South Africa distribution deal covering past and current Psquare catalogues. Congrats guys!!!

The Akpako beat maker, Terry G has confirmed he is expecting a baby from his long-time partner, Mimi. Well, few days ago it’s was rumoured on several blogs that Mimi was 6 months pregnant with Terry G’s baby. 
However, the TGP entertainment Boss has confirmed it saying, ‘it’s true’. He further said they don’t know the sex of the child yet but he prays to God for a boy.

Rapper and song writer Eva has been confirmed by Eldee Da Don the CEO of Trybe Records as a new signing for the company. Eldee took his twitter account early on Wednesday May 30, 2012 to announce this new addition.

‘Good morning Yall! Join me as I welcome @evaalordiah the newest member of Trybe Records v2.0!’
With her new track ‘I Don Did it’ and ‘High’ video, Eva is definitely enjoying her time, pulling crowds across the state especially at the recently held King of Comedy show. 

To confirm the story, Eva, who is currently pushing her new video ‘high‘, took to her Twitter line, saying ‘Wow! I had to go through 13 Record deals to finally get here. Did I say Yes to the 14th? Yes! Am I happy? Oh Yes!!. She is yet to respond to calls as at the time of writing.

Former B2K member RAZ B suggested Chris Brown is gay in his memoir titled "The Boy's Life".  He wrote about Chris Brown's sexual orientation which has generated lots of controversy.
On this note, Chris Brown is planning to sue the R&B singer and has took to twitter to express his anger, reports contactmusic.com.

Chris further explained on the Twitter that

"Lying about somebody in a book is called defamation of character. Keep feeding people bulls**t and ima end up owning you and that book! RAZ B! God bless... My lawyers are handling it! Lol ima chill," CB Tweeted

Just last year reports was all over the nation about Ayo Balogun, who is better known as Whizkid with an undergraduate of a Ghanaian university, in a fatherhood scandal of a baby..
Whizkid is yet to clear the air about this issue as there have reportedly been different controversies on the scandal.
Just recently, the Banky W’s protege posted a picture of him and a baby with the caption, “I love my Baby”.

Peter Osaze Odemwingie Weds Sarah Fallon

Peter Odemwingie and Sarah Fallon tie the knot surrounded by family and friends in a nice small wedding that had 150 guests at the church. Super Eagles striker Peter Odemwingie has said that getting married to fiancée Sarah Fallon is the best contract he’s ever signed.

The 30 year-old West Bromwich striker has said he wants to move away to a bigger club next season, it was with great joy that he tied the nuptials with 22 year-old Sarah whom he had been dating for two years.

The street shoemaker turned Reggae star,revealed that his then manager,Uzoma Omenka of Miracle Day Music following the non fulfillment of financial attachment to the award he won had been behaving funny to the extent of preventing him from honoring any musical shows.

D' Banj left Don Jazzy for Elton John


Finally Koko master has stepped up with better things after his reported split with his former boss, Don Jazzy some weeks ago.
According to the latest report, the Kokomaster has been signed by a top United Kingdom record label, Mercury Records.
He has already been listed on the label’s official website as one of its artistes alongside top UK singer, Elton John.
Mercury Records is also a subsidiary of Universal Music Group, which Island Def Jam (IDJ) is also a subsidiary of, a label D’Banj claims to also belong to, going by his twitter profile: DB/Good Music/Mercury/IDJ.
D,Banj is expected to officially release his Oliver Twist single on May 14.

I Never Said I Own Mo’hits – D’ Banj

Remember, at the heat of the Dbanj- Dob Jazzy saga, it was reported that D'banj supposedly claimed the ownership of one of Nigeria's biggest record label ( defunct Mo' Hits record). It has also been confirmed that the news was first published by an entertainment magazine ebony.com, that D’ Banj claimed outright ownership of Mo’ Hits record and purportedly claimed that Don Jazzy was just his artist.

An email received by one of the publishers of the news had it that the entertainer never made such a statement and that the editor of Ebony.com would be contacted to correct the post.
